Arriving at the courthouse, the prayer for the gates of city was spoken again. A pagan ritual was underway the Day of the Dead a traditional Mexican holiday. The Aztecs Indians who practiced sacaficial killing of innocent members set its roots. Unfortunately when Christian missionaries arrived they noticed a strong resistance to the adoption of the new faith, which is not surprising being that the white men all but slaughter most of the native race. Evil was quickly called good when Catholic missionaries commingled pagan and Christian practices. This shortsighted act has lost generations of souls who continue to believe reincarnation.
